Balkan rhythms, flamenco temper and the tenderness of nordic notes. RIID has created an expression few have done before them, bringing something completely new to the Norwegian and European folk music scene.

RIID is a collaboration between four artists of different cultural and musical backgrounds and consists of Almir Meskovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) on accordeon, Daniel Lazar (Romania/Serbia) on violin, Ingrid Jasmin Vogt (Norway) on vocals and Bellali Austria (Mexico), dancer.

The project started up in 2020 in Oslo, Norway. In 2021 RIID was presented at the Opening Concert of Førde Traditional and World Music Festival. Upcoming performances includes Riksscenen, the National stage for folk music and dance.
